Physical Activity and Cancer Prevention

As many of you know, when I am not in the studio or planning client sessions I work as a freelance Medical Writer, helping to draft, edit and fact-check a range of educational materials for the healthcare industry. 

 

It is with great pride that I can share a document that I helped edit, which has now been published by the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF). This report details WCRF's lifestyle recommendations for the prevention of cancer, which are based on the findings of a Panel of Experts who analysed the available data on lifestyle factors such as diet, bodyweight and physical and activity, and examined how they relate to the risk of developing various common cancers. 

 

My role as an editor in this project was a humble one and I feel deeply honoured to have been credited Scientific Consultant at the front of the report!
